In the boxes and bottles of ECO Brotbox both cold and hot food and drinks can be transported. However, since our standard products are made of single-walled stainless steel, these products have no insulating function, i.e. they keep the contents neither cold nor warm. Attention with hot contents – these products can also become very hot outside!

If you want to keep your drinks or food cold or hot for a longer time, we recommend our insulated bottles and containers made of double-walled stainless steel.

Note: The non-insulating Tiffin Swing+, Bento Classic+, Bento Flex+ and Yogi Box products should not be filled with hot food as this will create a vacuum which will make it difficult to open the box again. Please allow the food to cool before filling.

Not all stainless steel products are allowed to be used in the microwave. You can use our Yumis and the Thali plate in the microwave. Up to 1000W and without lid!

When used in the oven or on the grill, extreme caution is required as the material becomes extremely hot and there is a risk of being burned. You can use products in the oven without lids.

The containers can basically be used for freezing. However, we do not recommend it as frequent freezing can lead to material fatigue. This shortens the lifetime of the boxes. In addition, you should take care not to fill the frozen food too high so that the frozen food can spread without stretching the container. The frozen product can cause a very high pressure and deform the box significantly.

Since some boxes have changeable clamps, it can happen that they come loose and have to be mounted again. However, this can be done easily and by hand. If you lose one of these clamps, you can contact our customer support and we will be happy to send you a new one.

A fine crack in your box is probably a stress crack.

These can occur in rare cases if the material gets too stressed during production. Please contact our customer service and we will immediately send you a new box.

A common reason for smaller amounts of leaking liquid is that during cleaning water has entered the inside of the lid through the handle holder – and then slowly leaks out again. The water can be removed simply by shaking the lid or by placing the lid on a cloth overnight with one of the holes in the handle holder facing downwards so that the water can exit.

In many cases, the problem can also be solved by inserting the silicone ring correctly. This is how you insert it correctly:

Our stainless steel drinking bottles and insulated bottles are designed to be leak-proof. However, please note that not all bottles can be guaranteed to be 100% leak-proof when filled with carbonated drinks. Some models have successfully withstood tests, while others may occasionally leak.

We recommend that you carry out a small leak test on the bottle before filling it with carbonated drinks. Use at your own risk. We accept no liability for damage or leaks that may occur when filling with carbonated drinks.
